Biography
I have a M.H.Sc degree with a major in gerontology and public health, and a bachelor’s degree in health care as a physiotherapist. I work at the University of Jyväskylä in the research project Future of Care Work (CAREFUTURE) within Work Package 5: Research in top-down innovations.
Research interests
My research focuses on the technologisation of social and health care services and on how this development is reflected in people’s everyday lives. Alongside my work as a project researcher, I am a doctoral researcher at the Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy (Social and Public Policy). In my doctoral research, I examine the position and experiences of older adults in the digital transition of public social and heath care services. My research is situated at the intersection of social policy and gerontology, and I approach the topic from the perspective of modes of governance.
