I work as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Languages and Communication in the project MultiELL – Redesigning Early Foreign Language Learning through Multiliteracies (Research Council of Finland 2024–2028). I defended my doctoral thesis in Swedish at the University of Jyväskylä in the fall of 2022. In 2023–2024, I was working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki in the project De Små.
My research interests focus on early language learning, language (education) policies, early childhood education, Swedish, and issues related to language awareness, diversity and multilingualism. In the ongoing MultiELL project, I focus particularly on visual research methods, research with young children, and different areas of multiliteracy.
