Biography
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher (PhD) from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, working for the Faculty of Education and Psychology. My research focuses on early mathematical teaching, professional learning and early mathematical skills development. I work as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Early Math (EarlyMath - Pathways to math difficulties: A longitudinal study from birth to school-age; European Research Council (ERC); 2021–2026) and Bright Numbers (BrightNumbers – Building a Strong Foundation for a Successful Educational Pathway in Math; 2024–2028; Academy of Finland; 363648) -research projects. Before these projects I worked several years as a University Teacher in early childhood teacher education programme. I have an extensive national and international teaching experience of undergraduate, graduate and professional development programmes (including, e.g., early childhood mathematics education and STEAM topics). I also have a wide national and international experience as a Lead Expert in different kinds of development projects concerning early childhood education.
