I work at the Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius as a Senior Lecturer in Educational Sciences. My responsibilities include supervision of Bachelor's and Master's theses, and teaching the course of Academic Reading and Communication Skills.
My research work focuses mainly on issues in the field of language education (Title of Docent: Language Education). I am interested in studying forms of linguistic support for immigrant students as well as preparatory education. I also explore the themes of early language education and teachers' professional development.
