Biography

I'm a PhD researcher at the University of Jyväskylä studying the socio-technical complexity of quantum software ecosystems: how developers, teams, and organizations navigate a technology stack that is still fragmented, low-level, and rapidly evolving.

Quantum computing is often framed as a purely technical challenge: better qubits, better compilers, better error correction. My research starts from a different premise in which the barriers slowing quantum adoption are as much organizational and human as they are technical. Choosing a quantum toolchain isn't about finding the objectively "best" option; it's an act of alignment between available capabilities, team expertise, and organizational context.

My academic background spans information systems, computer science, cognitive science, and quantum technologies. This combination shapes how I approach my PhD work: not just as an engineering question, but as one of infrastructure, learning, and collaboration under uncertainty.

I'm driven by curiosity, long-term thinking, and a commitment to building quantum computing ecosystems that are usable, humane, and sustainable as the field matures.
