Biography
I am a researcher in information theory. I received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), South Korea, in 2018 and 2020, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), South Korea, in 2024. I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Information & Electronics Research Institute, KAIST, from 2024 to 2026. Currently, I am a postdoctoroal researcher in the Quantum Information and Computation (QIC) team at JYU.
Research interests
My research interests include (both classical and quantum) information theory, statistical inference, differential privacy, and information-theoretic security. Currently, I am focusing on capturing quantum advantages in various information processing tasks including privacy-preserving statistical inference and communications.
