Sunny Choi

As a postdoctoral researcher, I blend academic research, artistic expression, and industry experience to design emotionally rich, playful technologies. With a PhD from New York University, I’ve created serious games for older adults using familiar music, and explored improvisation as a tool for professional adaptability. As a recording artist for Steinway & Sons and WIPO-registered inventor of 2 patents, I bring a unique edge to Human-AI Interaction Design, where my deep understanding of play, emotion, and improvisation fills the gaps AI alone can’t reach.
