Tayfun Küçük

Dr. Mehmet Tayfun Küçük is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Philosophy at the University of Jyväskylä. His research focuses on systematic metaphysics, with particular interest in debates on realism vs. anti-realism, grounding, fundamentality, essentialism, and causality (PSR). Drawing inspiration from Avicenna’s metaphysical method, he argues for a natural order of philosophy in which metaphysics is the first discipline. On this basis, he develops a pluralist, socially secular, dynamic, and rationalist theology grounded in humanistic values. He pursues his work along this natural order, publishing in English, Turkish, and Arabic, and runs a multilingual YouTube channel where he analyzes classical Avicennian texts.
