Biography

I am a doctoral researcher and my main interests are in environmental microbiology, nutrient cycles, and ecosystem ecology. In my PhD thesis, I study how much intraspecific variation in the fungal networks affects carbon use in soil. More specifically, I investigate how much genetic variation and environmental conditions influence the fungal network morphology traits, and subsequently their impact on soil carbon processes and whether fungal network traits can be used to predict these processes.
