Biography

Vlad Stirbu is an IEEE member and researcher at University of Jyväskylä. He has more than 20 years of experience in IT industry and academia, having worked as researcher in teams that developed web based solutions for smart spaces and augmented reality, and software engineer and architect in teams that develop medical grade IoT systems, bridging compliance and software development practices. His focus is on APIs, distributed systems and software quality. He holds 15 granted US patents. Recently he developed a keen interest in quantum computing.
