Biography
I hold a master's degree with honoursinHistory and Archaeology / Jewish Studies from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
Before joining the University of Jyväskylä in 2024, I was a visiting researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles, at the Alan D. Leve Center for Jewish Studies: in 2022-23, I worked on my graduate project that explored dreams of those who suffered from the Nazi and Stalinist regimes' anti-Jewish policies and persecution. In 2024-25, I was a recipient of the Central European University Jewish Studies programme fellowship.
In 2015-18, I studied psychoanalytic theory at the International Institute of Depth Psychology in Kyiv.
Research interests
My research areas of interest are Soviet/post-Soviet histories and microhistories, political violence, conspiratorial thinking, politics of memory, and antisemitism.
