Molecular Technology

The Molecular tecnology group studies experimentally carbon nanotubes (CNT) and the electronic and mechanical properties of devices based on them. An interdisciplinary approach is important in our research (chemistry, biochemistry).

Research group description

The Molecular Technology group studies primarily the experimental electronic and mechanical properties of carbon nanotubes (CNT) and devices that are based on them. The interests include both fundamental and applied aspects of CNT science and technology. The research in the group has extensively explored the basic electronic transport properties of high quality multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNT). Another important aspect are interdisciplinary topics (chemistry, biochemistry) connected to CNT research.
