The Margins of Teaching and Educational Practice
Overview
Research group description
The group investigates phenomena that fall outside the scope of planning and control in educational settings — unexpected events that surface in the blind spots of teaching and educational work. While often difficult to identify, these phenomena have a profound impact on the everyday functioning of schools and the well-being of both pupils and teachers.
The research group’s work has been launched with the support of research grants and the University of Jyväskylä. The group’s work has been supported by the Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation and the Ellen and Artturi Nyyssönen Foundation.
The group engages in collaboration with a range of partners. Our collaborators include:
-
