On 4 March, the University of Jyväskylä held its annual celebration to recognise the outstanding contributions to science and teaching made by members of the University community. The Jyväskylä University Foundation awarded nine prizes of €3,000 each.

In the LuKiVa intervention study, led by the University of Jyväskylä, children from selected ECEC centres and pre-primary education groups take part in special dialogic reading sessions.

Adult humans and dogs recognise the emotions of their own species through the eyes, but the mouth area provides the most significant cues when interpreting emotions across species.
