The renovation of the University of Jyväskylä’s library building will soon be completed. Lähde will open to students, staff members and other citizens at the beginning of the new academic year.

On 19 May 2021, the University Board of the University of Jyväskylä has appointed Doctor of Philosophy, Rector Keijo Hämäläinen as the rector of the University of Jyväskylä for the second five-year term from 1 August 2022 to 31 July 2027.
