The Board of the University of Jyväskylä approved the University’s financial statements and annual report in its meeting on 31 March 2025.

The year 2024 was successful in education and research at the University of Jyväskylä. The number of international peer-reviewed publications continued to grow. The University of Jyväskylä was also successful in competitive funding.

In his doctoral research, M.Sc. Jaakko Litmanen used biomolecule-based modelling to study the composition of the phytoplankton community in Lake Vesijärvi, as well as the diets of water fleas and calanoid copepods over a seven-year period.
