Before joining the IBE program, I have already worked with UPM for 10 years. At that point, I thought that pursuing a master’s degree in international business and entrepreneurship at the University of Jyväskylä would be a great addition to my education. Soon after I graduated and to this point, I am employed at Kotkamills. At Kotkamills, I am working as HRD Manager. The IBE program helped me to upgrade my knowledge and strengthen critical thinking. Moreover, the studies remembered me how much I enjoy learning and developing myself.
I chose the IBE program to update my knowledge in the international business field, enhance entrepreneurial skills, and have an opportunity to study in English. The IBE program is a good option for you if you would like to:

If you are an IBE student, I highly advice staying open-minded, absorb all the knowledge, and enjoy your time as a student. Upon graduation, it is beneficial to identify the exciting areas for you, be persistent in your job applications to desired companies, and speak outload about your dreams.
P.S. Jyväskylä’s city center offers variety of activities. Also, there is a beautiful lake right next to the Agora building. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy your lunch outside.
