Mechanics of Moving Materials and Multidisciplinary Analysis

Developing multidisciplinary analysis for moving materials

This mobility project aims to develop both multidisciplinary analysis for moving materials as well as a bifurcation analysis in the case of complex interaction of different fields, and to evaluate the critical parameters of instability processes. The underlying goal is to decrease the time consumption used for reliable design of paper making processes.

The project is conducted as a collaborative research in the field of paper making, computing technology and some industrial applications, and focuses on problems of mechanics of moving material interacting with external fields such as hydro-thermo-elastic fields. The project covers the period of two years from the beginning of 2018 until the end of 2019.
