Your survival guide to the local MEG laboratory.
Before anything else, apply for a research permission by contacting cibr-info@jyu.fi or Tiina Parviainen. After granting a research permission, Centre for Interdisciplinary Brain Research gives user rights to the "Meg Lab" calendar in JYU Infrabooking. Log in with your username and password (Haka for JYU users). Find a free time slot and make your reservation.
Instructions for using the Infrabooking system can be found within the system after logging in.
Guidelines
- Make sure you reserve enough time for preparation.
- If you want to make reservation outside 9–17, please contact the CIBR technical support.
- The reservation title line should always include the name of the project.
- The line should also be marked by the text “pilot” in the case of technical testing or pilots.
- The line should also be marked by "preliminary" or "confirmed" in the case of actual research, depending on whether you are only planning to have a measurement or have actually confirmed your participant.
- Contact Viki-Veikko Elomaa if there are problems.
