From EduFutura to EduJyväskylä

The first partner agreement between the EduJyväskylä educational organisations was signed in March 2016. The University of Jyväskylä, Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences and the Jyväskylä Educational Consortium agreed on a more extensive form of cooperation, the purpose of which was to create, based on certain determined spearhead areas, the most notable Finnish competence cluster of learning, research and development as well as experiments and application in Jyväskylä. This was named EduFutura Jyväskylä. The network agreement of EduFutura educational cooperation was approved by EduFutura’s executive team on 8 June 2020.

In 2025 EduFutura Jyväskylä's name was changed to EduJyväskylä.
