The record-breaking JYU Friendship Programme welcomes you aboard; the number of local friendships was the highest ever, more than doubling in the last years. The application round for the academic year 2026-2027 is now open.
The programme is a unique, or as we say, JYUnique, way to experience Finnish culture through local friends.
It's voluntary, free and based on your interests and time-frame.
