Loss of biodiversity is the biggest crisis of our time. The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child has stated that it threatens also children's rights around the world. As the Ombudsman for Children in Finland is turning 20 this year, JYU.Wisdom, Villa Rana and the Finnish Youth Research Society are co-organizing this event to raise funds for work that benefits children, youth and nature.
Two exciting Finnish bands, Outi ja olevaiset and Lempivärit, will perform in an event filled with love towards the planet and all its habitants. The event is hosted by Panu Halme.
The event will be in Finnish, but everyone is most welcome to join the evening filled with love towards the planet and all its habitants.
This is a paid event (fundraising). You are asked to present a receipt of donation at the entrance. The donations may be directed to support the climate work of Operaatio Arktis (instructions here) or the afternoon nature clubs for children by the Finnish Nature Association (instructions in Finnish here). The suggested sum is one percent of net monthly income, or at least ten euros.
Attendees must be 18 years old or older. The restaurant and bar is open.
