The JYU-CAN is inviting applications from JYU Masters and PhD candidates that are conducting their research in Africa to apply for fieldwork research grant. The grants are up to € 1 500 (Masters) and up to € 4 000 (PhD). Details about the open call can be found at:

The grant can be applied for by any Masters or PhD student registered as an active student for academic year 2023-2024 in any Faculty at the University of Jyväskylä, whose research topic is related to any African country. University employees or those who have previously had an employment contract with the University connected to their dissertation work are not eligible for this grant.
