Asko Lõhmus has broad interests in sustainable land use, ecology, biodiversity conservation, and related social and cultural issues, including environmental media, politics, and futures studies. He currently serves as the Professor of Conservation Biology and Chair of Natural Resources at the University of Tartu, Estonia.
