Qi Chen is an Associate Professor at the University of Utah whose research explores the hidden universe of small RNAs revealed by RNA modifications. His lab pioneered the discovery of sperm-borne tsRNAs and rsRNAs and their roles in epigenetic inheritance. He also developed PANDORA-seq, an advanced sequencing method that uncovers modified small RNAs beyond miRNAs, reshaping our understanding of the small RNA landscape.
