Kari Palonen and Sakari Hänninen, Professors of Political Science at the University of Jyväskylä, discuss their new books At the Origins of Parliamentary Europe: Supranational parliamentary government in debates of the Ad Hoc Assembly for the European Political Community in 1952-1953 (Palonen) and Political Creativity: Antonio Gramsci on Political Transformation (Hänninen). Professor Kyösti Pekonen (Palonen) and Docent Tuija Parvikko (Hänninen) act as discussants.
