Welcome to explore the activities of the FORTHEM Multilingualism in School and Higher Education Lab. Our lab is one of the nine lab networks of the FORTHEM Alliance. With the help of students, researchers, and university-external experts, we aim to develop a research-based understanding of societal challenges and potential solutions in connection with increasing multilingualism.

Come and chat with the lab members! Students, researchers, and university-external partners will be eager to share their experiences and would also like to learn about your interests and expertise. The detailed program can be found below.

The networking event is part of the Language Campus Seminar, which focuses on linguistic justice and participation.

The event will be held in a hybrid format at the University of Jyväskylä's Ruusupuisto building (D104 Helena) and via Zoom.

Registration / Enrollment

You are welcome to attend on campus at the University of Jyväskylä's Ruusupuisto building without pre-registration. If you are participating remotely, please register for the Language Campus Seminar and you will receive the Zoom link via email well in advance of the event.
