Tietoniekka (B116), Lähde building, Seminaarinkatu 15
Our event explores how diversity, inclusion and sustainability principles can move from policy documents into everyday community practices. The discussion will begin with a presentation of the brand new FORTHEM Code of Conduct on Diversity, Inclusion and Green Alliance, developed collaboratively by the Green Sustainability Unit and the Diversity and Inclusion Unit. The University of Jyväskylä is part of the European University Alliance FORTHEM. Inspired by the idea that creating inclusive communities requires more than well-written guidelines, the event will focus on practical action, shared responsibility and community agency. Together with invited panelists, participants will discuss how inclusive values can genuinely shape institutional cultures and everyday interactions beyond symbolic commitments.
Free entry. Accessible: accessible entry, accessible and gender neutral bathroom, possibly bi-lingual event or translation.
