Lakeside Quantum Dialogue is an event, where new ideas related to quantum information are presented in a form of engaging talks and then discussed while walking by the lake. The surroundings of the Faculty of Information Technology provide a great environment for this immersive meeting. The event is organized by the QIC-team and sponsored by QuantrolOx.
The topics of LQD24 will be around quantum algorithms, quantum resources, error correction and fundamental bounds of quantum information processing.
Talks:
- Joonwoo Bae: Static Errors and Purification
- Andrew Briggs: Accelerating quantum progress through machine learning
- Sarah Croke: Quantum measurement theory and quantum algorithms
- Mate Farkas: Reaching the fundamental limits of device-independent quantum key distribution and randomness generation
- Viv Kendon: Multi-stage quantum walk algorithms for optimisation problems
- Nicolino Lo Gullo: Mitigating qubit readout errors using bayesian learning
- Marcin Pawlowski: Nonlocality detection at large distances
- Alexander Streltsov: Catalysis of quantum entanglement and entangled batteries
- Jordi Tura Brugues: Certifying spectral gaps of 1D quantum many-body systems via semidefinite programming
- Mario Ziman: Divisibility structure of quantum processes
