As part of the MuseoFest program, visitors have the opportunity to explore the collections of Jyväskylä University Library and University Museum.
Kanavuori Cave Complex holds the collection and storage facilities of Jyväskylä University Library and University Museum (Open Science Centre). Jyväskylä University Museum’s collections trace the history of the university and its predecessors, starting from the 19th-century teacher seminary. University library collections include nationally valuable cultural heritage of various kinds of printed materials. Come and see our 125 meters long cave for the free copy collections!
The tour will be held in Finnish.
Please note that the tour is not fully accessible.
