Repairing disrupted interactions
Prof. Pavel Lipavský, Charles University, Prague
Many approximations in the theory of non-equilibrium many-body quantum systems rely on neglecting interactions during a specific time period.
This non-physical disruption of interactions can lead to artifacts. We address this issue in two cases: the derivation of the kinetic equation for the one-particle density matrix and the treatment of initial correlations for non-equilibrium Green's functions. In both cases, we demonstrate how to correct this disruption.
