National Doctoral Education Day will be held on 6 October 2026 at the Mattilanniemi campus of the University of Jyväskylä. The theme of the day is Supporting Researcher Skills.
The invitation is extended to those interested in the development of doctoral education, especially directors of doctoral programmes and doctoral schools, those working in doctoral education administration, as well as dissertation supervisors and doctoral researchers. The event provides an opportunity to share and discuss good practices in doctoral education with peers and colleagues from different Finnish universities.
