Welcome to hear about the history of the Old Teacher Training School on free guided tours and on school memories theme evening on Tuesday October 6, at 4:30-6:45 PM.
The Old Teacher Training School (1954) is part of the University of Jyväskylä Aalto Campus (1951-1971) which is one of the 13 Aalto Works Unesco World Heritage sites.
The event is part of the Alvar Aalto Society 60 anniversary programme. It is co-organised with Jyväskylä University Museum.
The guided tours start at 4:30 PM at the Seminaarinmäki X building main doors.

School memories theme evening in the University Main Building Lecture Room C4
After the guided tours the event is to be continued with shared school memories in the University Main Building Lecture Room C4. The audience is welcomed to join the discussion together with e.g., Matti Siipola, Pekka Lassila and Timo Knuuttila.

Please note that the guided tour in X Building is not fully accesible. The University Main Building Lecture Hall C4 is partly inaccessible. Lecture Hall C4 is located on the third floor, accessible by a stair lift and lift. Ascending auditorium seating, free movement space 1100 x 3300 mm immediately next to the doorway.
