The Nordic-Iberian Doctoral Workshop on Business Economics is a student-led initiative, supported and attended by the Department and Faculty of the organizing universities. Our mission is to provide a dynamic platform for PhD students worldwide, offering them an opportunity to showcase their research, interact with a diverse community, and cultivate a collaborative and relaxed atmosphere.

The Workshop stands as a tribute to the lasting connections formed amidst the demanding yet enriching path of graduate studies. Initiated by three students from the Departments of Economics or Finance at the University of Valladolid, BI Norwegian Business School, and Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics, this annual two-day event kicked off in 2024 with a commitment to fostering a global community of PhD students involved in groundbreaking research within the field of Business Economics (e.g., Finance, Management, Marketing).

For the 2nd edition, Welcome to Jyväskylä, Finland!

We hope to see you at the Nordic-Iberian Workshop organized on the beautiful campus of the University of Jyväskylä.
