The University of Jyväskylä will be participating in the Jyväskylä Book Fair

The Jyväskylä Book Fair brings together lovers of literature and culture at the fair and event center Paviljonki on 23-24 November 2024. We will be there: come and visit us at stand B-405 and take part in our exciting stage programme!

The University of Jyväskylä's Science for All -activities will participate in the Jyväskylä Book Fair on 23-24 November 2024. Come and visit our stand B-405, where you can find out more about our upcoming public events and studies that are open to everyone. Pick up some book recommendations and join in on the info sessions. 

There will be an interesting stage programme with discussions on range topics such as finances, the illness of a loved one, creativity and children's emotional skills. There will be talks featuring JYU alumnis and their books. We'll also be holding talks featuring JYU alumni and their books. There'll be a children's university programme for kids and families, with activities to inspire creative thinking skills. We'll be chatting about children's literature and the role of emotions in children's books.

At the university's fair stand, you can find out about upcoming public events and the range of studies on offer. We'll also be holding information sessions on topics like supporting children's reading path, tips for a healthy family life and planetary well-being.

Jyväskylä Book Fair programme (in Finnish) and tickets 

Discounted admission tickets are available for University of Jyväskylä staff and alumni. The ticket price is 7 €/each (normal price 12 €). Instructions for the purchase of a discount ticket will be in the Uno-intra and in the October alumni letter.
