Welcome to a free guided Seminaarinmäki Campus tour on Friday, 5 September, at 3–4 p.m. The tour starts at 3 p.m. sharp in the front of the University Library Lähde, Seminaarinkatu 15. The event is free of charge and open to all, but advance registration is required as places are limited. Register today!

Learn to know Seminaarinmäki and Aalto Campus and share your thoughts about the cultural environment

Join a free guided tour in English to discover the long and unique history of the campus. Led by campus guide Aatu Kavalto, the tour will highlight Alvar Aalto’s architecture on the Seminaarinmäki Campus. Participants will also have the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings about the buildings and park areas during the tour. 

The tour is organized together by the Open Science Centre University Museum and Alvar Aalto Society.

Part of the Jyväskylä Art Street season opening and the Open Route Day programme

The event is part of the opening events of the Jyväskylä Art Street’s autumn season on September 5-7, 2025, and the international Open Alvar Aalto Route Days, organised by the members of the Cultural Route on Aalto’s architecture and the Design Heritage Association in September 2025.

Please use the link below to register for the tour. Registration ends on 5 September 2025 at 11 a.m. or when the tour is fully booked. There is a limited number of places for the tour, so sign up well in advance. The tour starts in front of the University Library Lähde (Building B).
