Discover the Kalevala, its connection to nature, and its European heritage. You are welcome to participate in the rune singing if you wish. The workshop will be led by renowned rune singing professionals Ilona Korhonen and Maari Kallberg.

The Kalevalan Kutsu – Rune Singing Workshops are coordinated by Kalevalaisten Naisten Liitto (Kalevala Women’s Association) and supported by the Alfred Kordelin Foundation. These workshops are part of the collaboration related to the Kalevala European Heritage Label.

The event is organized by Kalevalaisten Naisten Liitto, Jyväskylä Kalevalaiset Naiset, and the Jyväskylä University Museum.

The Kalevalan Kutsu – Rune Singing Workshop will be held at the University of Jyväskylä Library (Tietoniekka, Seminaarinkatu 15) on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Workshop is open to all, and no registration is required. Please note that changes may occur.
