eEXAMS

eEXAM is an exam which you can take independently using the EXAM-system in the eEXAM room.

eEXAM is an online exam that you can take independently in the eExam environment at a time of your choosing within the opening hours of the facility. The eEXAM is conducted in the EXAM system. The eEXAM duration is usually 1 h 50 min.

eEXAM can be taken in following exam rooms:

Agora AgC221 (Mattilanniemi 2) Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 16 pm
University Library Lähde T131 (Seminaarinkatu 15) Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm and Sunday 11 am to 4 pm

Please note that on weekends there is no IT support available on technical issues. You can inform the janitors of the issues but technical support is not available. You can send an inquiry of the weekends technical issues on HelpJYU by using the form Get help with an IT issue.

In the examination, you are only allowed to have with you necessary medication, identity card or passport, key to a possible locker, disposable foam earplugs and a bottle of water with labels removed.

Students from other university can take eEXAM of their own university course in Jyväskylä university's eEXAM exam room as an eEXAM visit.

All workstations in Agora exam room have adjustable electric tables.
In University Library Lähde there are four workstations with adjustable tables. To book an adjustable table in University Library Lähde, log in to EXAM and click Book an exam time in the Reservations. Choose 'Lähde T131 - A' from the drop-down menu in Choose room. Open the Accessibility type drop-down menu and check Adjustable table. Now you see only those time-slots in the calendar when an adjustable table is free.

5 workstations are available with pen display: three in Agora exam room and two in University Library Lähde exam room.
If you need to use the pen display on your exam, contact your teacher before registering for the exam.
Pen displays may be required on exams including drawing or writing formulas.

If you wish to have individual arrangements on eEXAM (based on a medical certificate), please contact Degree Education Services before the eEXAM.
If you have a recommendation for individual study arrangements, attach your recommendation on the HelpJYU form.
If you have a recommendation, you don't have to tell any reason for the individual arrangement. The recommendation itself is enough. Please don't include your personal medical certificates or diagnosis documents on the form.
