Feeling overwhelmed, unmotivated, or simply looking to strengthen your mental wellbeing during your studies? Student Compass (OK) wellbeing coaching combines a flexible online program with personal or group support from a trained wellbeing coach. OK is designed to be useful for anyone interested in maintaining and increasing their mental wellbeing, which in turn can impact their study ability. It offers practical tools to enhance psychological and emotional well-being, tackle motivation challenges, support adjustment to university life, manage unhelpful stress, and strengthen overall well-being.
The English program consists of five main modules focusing on different aspects of well-being. It is skills-based and includes easy-to-learn experiential exercises, along with a wide range of practice materials available in text, audio, and video formats. Students work through weekly assignments and exercises at their own pace, reading or listening to the content online.
Grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and backed by research at the University of Jyväskylä, Student Compass has been shown to support improvements in wellbeing, psychological flexibility, and quality of life, while reducing stress, anxiety, and low mood. Even a small weekly time investment can lead to meaningful gains.
I got tools to deal with problems. We went through matters that I wanted and needed to think about. It is really a very useful thing for all. It should become a mandatory course for all students!!
