Movi, together with Student  Life, the Student Union, and the Kennel Club, have brought Care and Reading Dogs on campus to enhance the well-being and learning ability of students, as well as to promote new pedagogical methods. The dogs are part of certain courses at Movi. They can also be met outside the courses in the dog lounge O103/104 of the Oppio building on Seminaarinmäki campus at appointed times (see below).

Just by its presence, a Reading Dog brings warmth and lightness. The dog is easy to approach and enjoys interaction with humans without ever judging anyone. Reading Dogs are trained to perform their tasks and they enjoy the work they are doing.
