Enroll in a student panel and influence in the student experience!
In the panel you will have coffee and conversations with other students in a relaxed atmosphere. You can share your experiences from the studies and give feedback to the university’s student experience related initiatives.
Last academic year the panel discussed among other things, about:
- how to improve the study and thesis guidance
- what ways are there to support students to find friends and to create a sense of belonging.
There will be groups for Finnish and English-speaking students.
What does it take to participate?
- There are 4 meetings at the campus during the academic year
- One meeting is 1,5 hours
You don’t need to prepare yourself in advance, just join the meetings with open mind and be ready to discuss.
As a general rule, we are looking for participants who can commit to both fall and spring meetings. If you are interested in participating, but due to an exchange or other reason you are only available for one semester, please contact us with a low threshold. We will then look at the situation on a case-by-case basis.

So, if you are interested in improving the student experience in the University of Jyväskylä through casual conversations with other students, enroll yourself in. You don’t need to have any previous experience in such activity!

Student panel is part of StudyPLUS activities
The University of Jyväskylä aims to enable first-class student experience to all for which the StudyPLUS activities are created. The panel will be facilitated by Sakke and Joonas who are JYU alumnis and whose company Männikkömetsä Oy is partner for the University.
