Erasmus+ ViREAL4STEM Kickoff Meeting Held in Burgos, Spain

The event took place at the Faculty of Education, Burgos, with representatives from JYU, Gimnazija, ITSART, Siglo22, 4Experience, and KVC in attendance.
Day 1: Project Overview and Partner Roles
The meeting began with a welcome and introduction session, setting the stage for project collaboration. Key presentations included:
- Project Overview (led by UBU - Bogdan Toma), outlining the project’s background, objectives, and expected outcomes.
- Partner Presentations: Each partner institution introduced their roles, tasks, and responsibilities in the project.
- Administrative & Financial Issues (led by UBU - Verónica Sedano), covering the grant agreement, budget, and financial reporting requirements.
- Project Timeline and Milestones (presented by UBU - Iraya Yánez Pérez), providing a roadmap for project implementation.
The first day concluded with a cultural visit to Burgos Cathedral and an evening exploring the historic city center, offering partners a chance to network in an informal setting.
Day 2: Work Sessions on Development & Dissemination
The second day featured work sessions focused on the project’s core activities:
- WP2: ViREAL4STEM Application Development – Partners engaged in brainstorming sessions on scenario creation, interface design, and graphical elements for the ViREAL4STEM app.
- WP4: Sharing and Promotion Strategy – Discussions centered on outreach efforts, website and social media setup, and effective ways to promote project outcomes.
The meeting concluded with a Q&A session and closing remarks, ensuring all partners had a clear vision of the next steps in the project.
Next Steps for ViREAL4STEM
With the project now officially underway, partners will begin developing interactive VR scenarios for STEM learning, advancing innovative teaching methodologies through digital tools. Stay tuned for updates as the project progresses!
