Erroneous automated messages on user ID activation to Open University students
On 18–19 January 2022, around 130 current and previous students of the Open University of the University of Jyväskylä has received an automated message requesting registration in order to activate the student’s JYU user ID. The message is erroneous and can be dismissed.

The erroneous message resulted from the transfer of Open University student register to Sisu. The transfer included the register data of about 150,000 persons.
JYU apologises any trouble caused by the message.
