First-year student: Answer the HealthStart-survey
After completing the HealthStart questionnaire, you’ll receive immediate feedback on your state of health and may be referred for health promotion services provided by the FSHS or offered an appointment.
As a first-year student you can fill in the HealthStart questionnaire on the Self online service. You will also be invited to fill the HealthStart questionnaire if you have updated your contact details at the Self online service.
The HealthStart questionnaire examines your physical, mental and social health, the key aspects of your health behavior, as well as factors affecting your health, health behavior and ability to study.
After completing the HealthStart questionnaire, you’ll receive immediate feedback on your state of health and may be referred for health promotion services provided by the FSHS.
If your answers indicate a need for an appointment, you’ll be automatically booked a local appointment or a remote consultation. You’ll be informed about the appointment within two weeks after completing the questionnaire. The appointment will take place during your first academic year. You’ll also receive a booking permission that you can use if you need to reschedule the appointment for a more suitable date.
What, where, when?
If you began your studies in autumn 2021, you’ll be invited to complete the HealthStart questionnaire in January. Because of the changes made to the questionnaire system, a small number of those who completed the questionnaire earlier may not receive feedback.
If you began your studies in January 2022, you’ll be invited to complete the HealthStart questionnaire later during the spring term 2022.
Once the HealthStart questionnaire is available to you, it will stay on your home screen on the Self online service until you complete it. After you’ve completed it, it will be shown in the Services section.
