FIXED: Problem in file services prevents login
Update: Services are operating normally as of 3:00 PM. Services have been restored after the disruption, and they are now in their normal state. Using the services may require restarting your workstation. The root cause of the disturbance is still under investigation and the services are being monitored more closely by maintenance.

The disruption has started on 6.2.2024 before 11 am. The fault prevents access to the U-drive and thus to a large extent to the programs. The University's computers need the U-drive for start-up and shutdown, so the machines will not start or shut down normally.
If you have to leave the public machine in the middle of logging on or shutting down, please turn off the machine by pressing the power switch for more than 10 seconds so that the machine does not remain open with your credentials.
The problem is currently being investigated.
