Free admission to museum exhibitions and activities in Jyväskylä

The University students and staff can enjoy free admission to the Jyväskylä Art Museum and the Craft Museum of Finland until the end of May 2025.

Free admission is valid during the opening hours of the museums as long as the ticket quota is available or until the end of May 2025.

When buying a ticket, you must show a valid staff or student card or a researcher ID. At the museum, record the visitor’s name, status (student or staff) and the date of visit. You will see on this webpage when the ticket quota is used up. You can also enquire about the quota situation at the ticket office of each museum. You can visit the museums more than once, there is no limit to the number of individual visits as long as the quota is available. Free admission is a personal benefit and does not apply to family members.

For more information on the permanent and temporary exhibitions, guided tours and workshops, please visit the websites of the museums. Free admission applies to all museum activities unless otherwise stated (except for paid workshops, which must be booked separately).
