Games, AI and the natural sciences – new degree programmes for applicants at JYU

Are you interested in building a successful career in game design or AI-powered software engineering? Or do you wish to reach new academic heights in the study of aquatic organisms or ecosystems?
The University of Jyväskylä is introducing new English-taught degree programmes in each of these fields, bringing the total number of international bachelor's and master's degree programmes at JYU now up to 22. In addition, JYU also offers two Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters.

JYU offers several high-quality, research-based study programmes taught fully in English.
Our bachelor's programmes take three years and our master's two years. Programmes are offered as full-time, on-campus study in Jyväskylä.
Application for both bachelor's and master's degree programmes will take place 7–21 January 2026, for studies beginning in autumn 2026.
