Internal bulletin: Research Council of Finland winter call 2026: Research security
Starting from the winter call 2026, the Research Council of Finland (RCF) will integrate research security risk assessment into its funding process. In Converis, research security must be considered in all project proposals starting in October 2025.

Starting from October 2025 a new field on self-evaluation of research security has been added to Converis project proposal forms. If risks have been identified, a risk management plan must be attached as an attachment to project proposal. In addition, a short description of other risks related to project must be recorded for all applications that have a budget over 100 000€, including personal grants.
