JYUOpen's Director Lerkkanen re-elected to EADTU Supervisory Board

Open University Director Jukka Lerkkanen has been selected for the Supervisory Board of EADTU for the term 2022–2024.
The selection of the new EADTU board took place in Athens, Greece during the I-HE2022 Conference.
EADTU is an international network for the development of online, open and distance higher education. Member organisations represent 24 countries. The University of Jyväskylä is the only member university from Finland.
–It is an honour to continue as a board member for a second term. EADTU is an important avenue for collaboration and promotion of key issues, for both the Open University and JYU. The network allows us to anticipate future developments in open university education in terms of both pedagogy and technology, tells Lerkkanen.
The new EADTU President is Theo Bastiaens, Open Universiteit (Netherlands).

Universities in a changing world
The I·HE2022 conference (Innovating Higher Education) being held 19–21 October in Athens gathers together European universities to discuss trends within international higher education and continuous learning. There are a total of some 250 participants from 28 countries.
The theme of the conference this year is Digital Reset: European Universities Transforming for a Changing World.
The conference programme entails presentations from 12 JYU representatives.
