JYU.Well is recruiting interns for summer 2026

Interdisciplinary community of wellbeing researchers, JYU.Well is seeking interns from different scientific fields for summer jobs in development and support tasks related to citizen science in wellbeing.

JYU.Well is looking for 6–8 interns from various disciplines for the summer, who are interested in and capable of working in a multidisciplinary team on projects that advance wellbeing research and its impact. Applicants must be students at the University of Jyväskylä.

Wellbeing is multidisciplinary and multifaceted, touches the entire life span, and is realized in different environments. Therefore, we hope for diverse applications from different perspectives. Please note that basic proficiency in Finnish is required.

The tasks include compiling information on citizen science related to wellbeing across different fields, as well as emerging ideas within our university and internationally. The group will also promote awareness of citizen science opportunities among researchers and citizens and provide support for citizen science projects. The Summer Team is also responsible for compiling and writing a report to ensure the collected information remains accessible in the future.
